MUMBAI: A year and half after it bought out its Indian JV partner and set up a fully-owned subsidiary in the country, open source software leader Red Hat Inc is making India the hub for its new services strategy.
The firm, which is under threat from giants such as Oracle and Microsoft to keep its market share in the expanding Linux pie, is also looking at new revenue streams like consulting and services, Red Hat global CFO Charlie Peters said in an interview with ET.
